Aim of the workshop
This workshop will be focused on the recent progress in understanding
scattering amplitudes in four-dimensional Yang-Mills theories, such
as perturbative quantum chromodynamics (QCD), supersymmetric gauge
theories and quantum gravity. A remarkable progress was achieved in our
ability to calculate multi-particle scattering amplitudes and
anomalous dimensions governing scaling violation of high-energy
processes. These are relevant both for phenomenological and
theoretical purposes.
Many advances have been made possible
with the input of new ideas from advanced mathematical concepts such
as theory of mixed motives and motivic Galois groups, variations of
mixed Hodge structures, Grassmanians, cluster varieties, Yangian
symmetries. At the same time, methods of quantum field theory proved
to be extremely useful in the study of properties of the multiple
zeta values.
Venue
The workshop will take place at the
Institut des Hautes Études Scientifiques
in Bures-sur-Yvette.
Participation in the workshop is open subject only to space constraints.
Registration will be obligatory, even for Paris-area scientists,
though there are no fees.
